About Us
Hi, we are Matt and Amanda co-creators of Herbidoor, fresh plant-based meals delivered to you! We started Herbidoor in 2018 after Matt transitioned to a vegan lifestyle and was experimenting in the kitchen thinking someone should make this easier. Amanda had been a long term vegan, but wasn't the best cook (according to Matt) and so he set about recreating all his childhood favourites vegan style. Matt had always been a bit of a creative cook, and so making the leap into doing vegan meal prep wasn't much of a stretch.
We both realised that we could be the ones making eating vegan easier for others! So Matt created Herbidoor, and initially we were delivering locally to the Tweed and Gold Coast. But word soon started to spread. After featuring on the Channel 7 news, we began to expand Herbi all along the east coast of Australia. We now have a team of Chefs that are all passionate about creating awesome vegan food! We can't wait to cook for you.
