Matt Goss founded Herbidoor in early 2018. Matt has always had a passion for cooking, and when he transitioned to veganism he wanted to eat meals that reminded him of his childhood. This is where the ethos of Herbidoor's plant based comfort food came from.
Demand for Matt's plant based comfort meals exploded after he was featured on 7 News, Livekindly and won Best of The Gold Coast for meal delivery by the Gold Coast Bulletin. Herbidoor meals are now stocked at select independent grocers and are available for home delivery to greater Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Sydney with expansion plans to Melbourne and beyond.
Behind the scenes Matt is a loving father to his first child Morrison and husband to Amanda Rose, a vegan fitness specialist who also helps him out with Herbi from time to time. He enjoys exercise, spending time with his family, and taste testing lots of vegan food (for inspiration of course ;) ).
Herbidoor is a completely vegan family run and operated business. All choices that go into creating all of Herbidoor’s products from ingredients through to packaging are all thought of and considered from an ethical vegan and the most environmentally friendly perspective on the market currently.
